Anyone who wants to learn the first link in the chain of survival in Adult Basic Life Support.


Course benefits:

This course covers how to conduct primary and secondary assessments, place an unconscious casualty into the recovery position, use different ventilation aids, assemble and use oxygen and suction if it is available within your workplace.

Principles of resuscitation -

• Procedures for artificial ventilation

• Procedures for cardio-pulmonary


Resuscitation: procedures to be followed in the following scenarios

Pulse, but not breathing

• When first aider alone

• With assistance


No pulse, not breathing due to injury or drowning  

• When first aider alone

• With assistance


No pulse, not breathing due to non-injury

• When first aider alone

• With assistance
